Just Moved to Justin TX

Featured

I have just got a little place in Justin, TX, although to tell the truth I did not know it was not Fort Worth at first. That was a good thing though, because the city of Ft Worth would be charging me property tax if I was in the city limits. I am not quite in Justin either, but they would come tax me if not for the hill I live at the bottom ( they do not want to pay to pump sewage up the hill). I did luck out and Justin fiber optics internet and TV are available. Apparently it just got to this neighborhood. I was moving in and I saw the truck for the installer at the house down the street. Targeted Marketing Using a Mailing List Broker

I contacted a mailing list broker to get a list of leads for my upstart company. I wanted to get the word out fast and to everyone I could within the advertising budget I had to get started. We needed to be frugal. We were only able to raise about 85 percent of the startup money we needed. Every area of getting started had to have a few corners trimmed back. Marketing was no exception. We had planned for a TV spot on our local channels. The costs were very high compared to other things we needed. Marketing on TV costs rivaled the lease and remodeling of the storefront where we opened up.

The mailing list broker provided a quality list of targeted consumers who have shown interest in the past for the products we are offering in our new store.

Identify Your Brand and Image, Or Your Competitor Will

Recently, Jimmy Kimmel sent members of his crew to conduct a series of interviews, Man on The Street style, about the current healthcare controversy.

The interviewer’s mission? Determine if people supported the Affordable Healthcare Act or if they supported Obamacare.

The interviews were conducted somewhere in California; I don’t recall the exact city/town. During the TV segment that was shown, approximately six people gave their opinions on Obamacare and The Affordable Healthcare act.

Tips for Choosing An Effective Promotional Product

These days there are many means of promoting a business, product or event. One can take out an ad in the papers, run a spot on TV or radio, or post teasers on the many social networking sites on the Internet. There is another, popular promotion method, and that is by handing out promotional products like caps, office supplies, clothing or small gadgets to existing or potential customers.

Giving branded freebies is a good way of making a name known, but it will most benefit your business or cause if careful thought is given to the type of promotional items you hand out. Before investing your marketing budget in a large number of Aussie-made stubby holders, consider a few things.

Who is your target audience? Just about anyone will accept a product when it’s given for free, but whether they keep and use that item is another matter. Some objects like t-shirts and mugs appeal to a wide demographic, but If you’re trying to reach, say, women with children, then printed tote bags will probably go over better than beer holders.

What Is Branding? What Does Your Brand Say About You As a Company?

Why should I care about branding?

People often think of a brand as just a logo but it’s so much more than this. Branding relates to everything you do and say as a company. Your brand tells the story of who you are. But most importantly, your brand reflects how a person feels about you. This feeling is made up of thousands of interactions which all get stored away in a person’s mind.

Each of us has subconscious ‘dossiers’ stored in our brains on thousands of companies. Every time they see your logo, website, signage, brochure etc, this gets put into their ‘folder’ on you. But also every time they speak to you on the phone, meet with you, receive an email, use your product or service, this also gets added to this subconscious dossier on your brand.

So when thinking about your brand, don’t just think of the visual representation of it, you need to think about how your whole company presents itself to the outside world. From how you answer the phone, to how your website is designed, this all adds up to how a person feels about you, ie., your brand.
